Indian Railways To Hire 50,000 Graduates

The Indian Railway is coming up with a series of opportunities for the candidates preparing for government jobs. Indian Railway will soon be releasing official notification inviting candidates to fill nearly 50,000 vacancies for the post of Assistant Station Master, Although the South Western Railway has released a notification for the recruitment of candidates under various posts candidates who have passed the class 12 examination.

Vacancy details:
Total posts: 50,000 (approximately)

Name of the post: Assistant Station Master (ASM)

Educational qualification:  All the interested, eligible candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from the recognised university or institute. For more details on eligibility, candidates need to wait for the official notification to release.

Age limit:  Candidates should be between 18 and 32 years for RRB ASM Recruitment 2018.
However, there is age relaxation for the reserved categories as per the government norms.

How to apply:
Once the same will be released, all the interested, eligible candidates will be required to apply through the prescribed format on the official website, the link for which is, all the candidates need to apply through online application mode only.

Selection process: In a bid to speed up the recruitment process, the board is mulling options to conduct the exam online this year. It is expected that the application process will start from January and will continue till February. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in Prelims exam, Mains examination and personal interview round.

Pay scale: Selected candidates will be paid between Rs 5,200 to 20,200 per month.
